Vacation

 Sterling and I were able to take a short vacation to Colorado Springs and leave Reagan in SLC with family.  It was a great trip to site see and check out a oral surgery practice.  We were able to visit many beautiful sites. This one was called Garden of the Gods.  It had lots of beautiful rocks and formations.

 They have a mountain called Pikes Peak that millions of visitors come to see each year.  We were going to take a drive up the mountain and when we got up there it was 12.00 per person just to drive around the mountain???? Ummm I don't think so.  They are making a killing!  Couldn't be any different than what I have seen before?  There was a little place called the North Pole that we stopped to look at on the way there.

 We went to a little town where they have lots of natural springs and you can taste the water that comes from the springs.  Because of the mineral deposits in the water it tastes like carbonated water-it was disgusting! (really cool though)  We had beautiful weather while we were there.  We did lunch and shopping in Denver, drove around Colorado Springs, had a very nice dinner at the Country Club and got to hang out with Matt and Andrea and see their twins in the NICU.  It was great to get away and renew our relationship.  Residency is KILLER most of the time!  It is easy to dwell on everything that is negative in life instead of focusing on what is positive and how many blessing we really do have! 

20 months and counting....

We are really enjoying our time in Utah. There is definitely no place like home.   It is so fun to spend time with everyone.  Reagan LOVES having everyone around and so do I.  We really miss companionship at home.  She says Papa over and over again.  Brielle and Reagan have a love/hate relationship-they like to boss each other around and watch shows!  Brielle calls for Reagi and Reagi likes to follow her around.  This is a picture of them shaking their booties at the mall!  We have been able to do some shopping, go to Gardner Village and see all of the witches, make caramel apple (they didn't look appetizing but they tasted good), go to lunch, watch movies, and just hang out.  We have had amazing weather, but it is supposed to get cold next week.  

Reagan updates:  Reagan is really trying to say everything these days.  She will try to count when I say one she says two, she says elmo, puppy, up, stars, wow, and other things I can't think of right now.  She has an amazing amount of energy.  She runs really fast-especially when you try to catch her and she doesn't listen at all if you tell her to stop or slow down.  She is finally getting two more teeth on the bottom and top giving her a total of eight.  I love her smile with her big dimples and "bunny teeth".  She is not a good eater she only wants her bobba and blankie.
