Flying Back Home

Coming home is always so bittersweet. It brings us back to reality...work, school, and life without family close by. It was wonderful to spend the holidays with all of our loved ones. The flight home was okay..busy with other holiday travelers. We made it to Cincinnati about a half and hour late and then the airlines managed to lose one of our bags (mine of course). Our car was frozen after being parked for two weeks and the "special" people who load the luggage onto the plane broke our portable DVD player. We ended up stopping at a Target to buy a new one so that Reagan wouldn't cry the whole way home. What a lifesaver that is in the car. We were excited to pick up Annie at the Birds house. She was just as excited to see us! Today we spent the day unpacking and taking down Christmas decorations. It was sad to see the Christmas tree go and we really do miss our families a TON! Thanks to everyone for such a special vacation.
