Camping

 September 16th-17th, we went camping at the Spruces with the fam.   Instead of the rain tapering off, it just got worse!!  Thankfully we had a GIANT size tarp. The boys climbed trees and worked hard to get that tarp up!! Mom is always so resourceful (I couldn't believe all of the unexpected things she had packed in the car)!!! It poured for hours!!!!! The giant tarp saved us!! We were able to cook dinner, eat and hang out under the tarp. We had yummy BBQ pulled pork sandwiches for dinner, with fruit, chips and hot cocoa!! When the rain finally stopped, we had so much fun hanging out around the campfire. We talked about favorite childhood memories, and "Would you do this...for a million dollars?". The girls loved their flashlight head lamps and we went looking for "Lions, and tigers and bears, oh my"!!! We made these delicious banana desserts stuffed with chocolate,caramel and marshmallows and cooked in the fire until gooey and melted...YUM!!!! We had so much fun!!!
